Pre-sales / Lead Generator - Houston / Cypress
General Description:
In the position of Pre-sales / Lead Generator you will be responsible for cultivating new business leads contacting both existing clients and prospects. Working together with the regional account managers you will be offering our technology and service to call centers and public safety answering positions. You will manage a CRM database to identify accounts and determine their technological need. Working with sales, operations, and service you will be part of a team tasked with expanding the business in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Kansas. Pre sales is mostly done over the phone and marketing email blast’s, on occasion some travel may be required for tradeshows.
Job Functions:
- Initiate, develop and follow up on business leads. Cold call, direct email, and perform other lead generation activities. Obtain names and numbers of potential customers from telephone directors or purchased lists. Schedule appointments for sales representatives to meet with potential clients.
- Meet personal/team sales targets

- Data entry and strong organizational skills.
- Effective listening and analytical skills, as well as the ability to summarize information and offer solutions.

Experiance and Educational Requirements:
- Three to Five years working with computers, personal computers, services, networks, or other integrated technology solutions
- Knowledge of industry phone systems and understanding of the various connectivity options applied to contact centers and public safety applications - preferred
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- High school diploma or equivalent
